CJ started racing at the ripe old age of 5 , give or take a little. He started in the PeeWee go-kart division at US 13 Kartway in Delmar Delaware. CJ raced in Delaware, North Caroilna and Virgina  for three years in go-karts before he graduated to the 250 Micro Sprints and Slingshot division. CJ also raced his # "00Slingshot car in Texas and Louisiana in 2002 on a Slingshot Promo tour.  After a year of double duty , CJ moved up to the T-USA Modified Lite class for the 2003 season and finished 3rd in points with 8 feature wins against other drivers 15 & 16 years old. With a year under his belt in the high powered Modified Lite division, CJ came back driving the Coldwell Banker / Ken Darling & Sons  Sewer Contracting/ Lightning Chassis # 0j  to win the  2005 T-USA Modified-Lite Track Championship at The New Middleford Speedway with 11 feature wins to his credit. The 2006 season would have CJ in the famous "0j" again where he would win the 2006 Mr. DIRT Jr. Mod-Lite National Championship and the 2007 Winternationals at Eastbay Raceway Park.
The 2008 Season will have CJ piloting the Cokesbury Equine Clinic/Ken Darling & Sons #39 Late Model at Wake County Speedway on Friday nights and selected UARA and ASA Late Model Series Saturday night events. Febuary 2008 will have CJ at New Smyrna Speedway in the
42nd World Series of Asphalt Racing for 8 nights of exciting action.
CJ attends Bradenton Prep School in Bradenton Florida via the schools online internet course. CJ's school work takes him from 9:00 am till 1:00pm daily. After school CJ has multiple duties in the JERRO Motorsports shop keeping his 2 late models cars race ready. Each car requires approx. 16 hrs. a week in maintance. With each car under going a strict 4 page check list before being loaded in the hauler for any road trip, CJ has alot of work to keep the competitive edge needed to compete against drivers twice his age.At some tracks other drivers may seem nervous with a 14 year old on the track, but CJ with only a few laps proves he has the talent to compete.
CJ hopes that all kids realize how lucky we are to be living in a country that gives us the FREEDOM to live, race, love life and be  Great Americans.
