Solid 5th place finish

August 2, 2013 CJ Faison came back to his hometown to race at Georgetown Speedway for Ellis Motorsports in a dirt modified. As practice started CJ quickly picked up how to drive these machines as its been over 2 years since his last dirt modified race. Faison started 9th in the A-main and made it way up to 5th place for a respectful finish. Once again, this up and coming NASCAR star has proven to all that he is versatile and is determined to win.

"I've got to thank Jimmy Ellis for giving me the opporitunity to drive for him this weekend, I hope I can come back and drive a couple of more races for him. These dirt modifieds are absolutely awesome to drive and to be back on dirt for a couple of races feels great!"- CJ Faison
