Faison is Tapped by Vammino Racing for Winternationals
Seaford, DE. Native CJ Faison has been tapped to drive for Vammino Racing at the Eastbay Winternationals this February. CJ currently races on a partial schedule in NASCAR competing in the Camping World Truck Series and K&N East Series. The young 20 year old received the call from team owner Jack Vammino to race his #v75 in the TUSA Modified-Lite series. Faison will pilot the car for the 4 day event at Eastbay Raceway Park February 5-8, 2014. Eastbay Raceway is located in Tampa, FL.
CJ is the 2007 Winternational Champion at Eastbay Raceway Park and is looking to reclaim his title this year. He drove for his family owned team that year and went on to win the 2006 National Championship as well. Faison won 2 out of 3 nights of racing, a dominate performance for the young man before he moved up to the asphalt late model world in 2007.
Vammino Racing is coming off of a successful race season by winning the Track Championship at Delaware International Speedway in 2013.
“It’s pretty exciting that I get to go back and race for another National title. Jack and Marie Vammino have been great friends of mine for many years and the offer to drive their car is humbling.”- CJ Faison
An official 2014 schedule and press release on CJ Faison’s behalf will be announced within the next few weeks. An exciting year for Faison is planned ahead of him, stay tuned for more news!
