CJ Faison was tapped once again to drive the #24 USAC SpeedSTR on the National Tour race up in New York. Of course he took the opportunity and came out with another respectable finish for his second ever race in an open wheel USAC car.
After flipping the car over in the heat race, Faison came back strong in the A-Main starting 18th and finishing 8th. CJ was pleased with the result but this young man hates losing more than he likes winning. "These cars are a lot of fun to drive, the rest of the drivers in this series have been running them for the past couple of years. With that being said I am going to field my own car next year to enable myself to win races, work on the car and most of all have more races to run" Said CJ Faison.
On a side note CJ plans to race the USAC SpeedSTR next year at Action Track USA in Pennsylvania, follow the Nation USAC SpeedSTR Tour, and a new track in Delaware that will be breaking ground in the next few weeks. CJ will also be fielding his Super Dirt Late model again in 2016 with a different motor program and crew chief. The construction on CJ's new state of the art race shop located at his house is almost complete. A lot of new things happening in Faison Nation, we will keep you tuned in on the latest news.
